Adjust Your Frame To Your Head
The temples on our recycled frames can be shaped to fit your head. It takes less than a minute.
The method
Three Steps
The temples are made from recycled CP with a stainless steel wirecore. Warm water softens the material for a moment, which is all it takes to reshape it by hand.
Warm the temples
Place the temples in lukewarm water for 30 seconds. A bowl or a glass is enough. Use lukewarm water only, never hot or boiling.
Dry them off
Wipe the temples dry. The material is now softer and ready to be shaped.
Shape them to your fit
Bend the temples gently with your fingers, a little at a time, until they sit the way you want.
Finding the fit
Which Way To Bend

| A wider face | Bend the temples slightly outwards |
| A narrower face | Bend them slightly inwards |
| A looser fit in mind | Open the temples a little |
| A tighter fit in mind | Close them a little |
Work slowly and in small steps. The material holds its new shape once it cools. If you need more adjustment, repeat the steps.
Please note
This applies to our recycled frames with CP temples. Do not use this method on our metal frames.
A frame that fits properly stays comfortable all day and holds its shape for years. If you would rather not adjust it yourself, any optician can do it for you in seconds.
